Birthday Memories!

The Bubble Gum Playland Ball Pit. Which was one of the birthday boys favorite attractions at his party. It is a great idea for a 1-year old because they are just beginning to crawl and walk and move around. The balls add fun and comfort for them to move freely without hurting themselves. The tracks going around the ball pit was to the birthday boys own personal roller coaster that he got his first Christmas.

Two guests attending the birthday party! Who also helped out.

Several guests enjoying themselves at the party. The party was Elmo themed, so in the background there are Sesame Street friends Scene Setters posted on the gates. Balloon decorations and a giant sized basketball hoop for fun. Little kids are amazed to see things that are big and colorful.

Image

The Giant Water Slide. This was a main attraction for the older kids to have a good time at a 1 Year old party. It was fun for them and also for smaller children because it’s an inflatable and the water wasn’t excessive and overbearing. Fun for all with this water slide. This was a good idea!

In this picture are some of our little guests making the most of the backyard little people furniture. Just the right size for the children to know that this event was for them. There is also a shot of the crawl through tunnels that they also enjoyed!

The guests sitting enjoying cold slushees, courtesy of a party assistant. While one of our small guests are making good use of the bigger sized pools for the children. The party was designed so that all the attractions and activities were the right size for children to play at their own leisure. All ages. With little to no assistance.

One of my favorites from the party! The Whale slide pool. Kids ages 1-2 enjoyed this the most. An Inflatable slide connected to a pool with just enough water to get wet and make a splash. I was lucky enough to catch some of these inflatables on sale. That’s always a plus!

Image

I love the shot of the decoration here. The balloons were in clusters of red, blue, green and yellow. To create the carnival theme look. In this photo, the birthday boy’s high chair was decorated with his favorite character, balloons and his own personal dishes and snacks. This is cute!

What would I have done without these four! These were the party’s clown assistants, and they did an incredible job. From the beginning to the end. They also looked great! It was fun picking out their outfits.

Little guests enjoying the slushees at the party, while taking a break from the activities. Our parents had a good time too. The music included, Barney the Dinosaur, The Backyardigans and other children’s music for the entire party. The menu was both to the parents and children’s liking. We served: Spaghetti, Chicken, Pizza, Pigs in the Blanket, Popcorn, Juice, and Slushees to name some of it.

A small guest, a cousin of the birthday boy. Sitting warming up after his slushee and playing in the water. The weather was nice for the day as well.

Another attendee enjoying the slushees. They were a big hit! There was no limit to how many the children could have and they took advantage of this opportunity!

Some of the guests turned assistant, operating the popcorn popper. What’s a carnival themed party without the popcorn popper for fresh popcorn?

Image

A closer shot of the Old Fashioned Popcorn Maker. And yes, the popcorn was as good as it looks!

One of the clown assistants for the party video recording the event. Along with photographed memories, there is also video to watch and remember as well. Perfect!

One of the games at the party, “Pin the Nose on Elmo” there were also games like bowling, the bozo pail game, musical chairs, and face painting. When the birthday boy wasn’t partying he was relaxing in his backyard swing built especially for him.

Image

The Birthday Cake courtesy of Ace Bakeries. Elmo and Carnival color themed. I loved this cake. I gave them the concept of how I wanted it and they did beyond what was expected. This was a great job. The cake is yellow with half butter cream and half strawberry filling. The writing on the cake says it all!

Image

A shot of the birthday boy sitting waiting attentively with his spoon in his hand to sing happy birthday and get the first piece of cake. His bib matches the theme of the party and says “1st Birthday” How cute!

Image

A shot of the clown assistants helping out with the birthday boy and getting ready to serve ice cream and cake to the other guests!

Image

A shot of the cake from a different angle, and the two flavors of ice cream that were available to the guests selection. The one candle is in celebration of the 1st birthday, for the first year of life. Very special!

Image

The birthday boy with his giant piece of cake. Of course he gets the 1st piece! And it looks like he knows just what to do with his spoon.

Image

After the ice cream and cake, the birthday boy opened all of his gifts, which were too many to name. Many were of his favorite TV character Elmo and other gifts as well. This celebration was special for a special boy. It was his 1st birthday, which was his golden birthday. Happy Birthday Caleb & many many many more to come!

The birthday cake after the first piece was given to the birthday boy on his special day!

The Bubble gum playland, Ball Pit. This was perfect to highlight the theme and setting of the party ;The colors and the enjoyment of the attraction. All kids love ball pits! The birthday boy enjoyed this as a favorite of his party.

Image

Here’s the birthday boy enjoying the whale slide pool while holding the water hose in the pool to fill it up. He has always enjoyed water. Even before he was born. In the pool were inflatable fish and beach balls for added enjoyment!

A shot of the birthday boy and his mom, me, in an inflatable, floating around in the pool. A great celebration for an incredible boy. If anyone thought this party was too much for a 1-year old, then it wasn’t quite enough for this one!
Birthday Memories, and the best ones are still to come!
