Holiday Business! 🎁

Being a single Woman/Mother, Christmas is a lot of fun, full of peace, quiet and adventurous for me. 🎄

Planning at my desk in my home office. I’ve also made a space for my son there, although he has his own desk.

My desk is full!

A layout on one of the pages of my Happy Planners. I plan my days. Also my Christmas Season is very busy.

I take pictures all year long when I go into stores. Whether I buy something or not. Stores are very beautiful I think.

I never get too old for dolls. I’m not one for last minute shopping these days, but I remember it to be a lot of fun. Enjoy! Everyone out and about Christmas shopping!

My son leaving cookies and milk for Santa. His logic is most reasonable. 1 of each kind of cookie and to save room for when Santa goes to other children’s houses. 🎄🏘

Christmas at my home often has a lot of gifts already in the home, when you have a special child. Gifts cards, Aladdin movies, helicopter boarding passes, M&M plain, painting dishes and my son’s very first Halloween costume. He was a newborn tiger. 🐯

The waters were for, to overcome me & I surfed,
I walked on them & overcame them,
They met me at the shore, my feet
In the Sand,
They called me mother.
We held hands, and we promised to never let go.
I saw them as they are
Not the depth of what they ought to be
They are created, & have a great maker, they are power, mighty, they have strength, since the beginning of Eternity.

I’ve caused the rain (& the pain of the world today), & the waves
The showers & the clean linen & dishes

They’ve come out of Heaven & have stopped by command for Birthday wishes.
The Sun dried the ground, wildfires & destruction in another town

The fire was for to burn, me,
To overcome me
& I let it burn.

Smoke in my hair, Gas poured all over me,
They made their own seats to watch me be tortured, tormented burn & die.
The heat got hotter than hell.

then I stepped out of the fire,
Perfectly Still,
Took them in my hand & we went on well.
Water in one hand, Fire in the other
They both look at me
Look into my eye,
Deep in my soul,
They call me mother.

3 inspirational ways to start Writing.

1. Doodle. Write down your thoughts. Gather them from reading, wandering, being quiet to see what your inner conversation and thoughts are talking about. Then get in the conversation, by jotting them down, anyway they come out. 

Also, doodling may not consist of writing words at all, but little marks on the paper, punctuation, icons, emoticons or one Word, verbs. Or expressions that come out as abstract.

2. Treat yourself to some attractive writing tools. Whether it be a new laptop computer, new notebooks or Planners, also prompted journals are a thing today and some pens. You need the perfect pen for you. (Or pencils if your prefer really sharpened pencil leads).
3. I love to read other’s inspiring ways to get started writing and how they keep up a daily writing routine. 

Go online, go to the store browse through some magazines, or spark a conversation with someone you don’t know to see if they like to write and what they might do for inspiration. 

There are so many ways to get started Writing. You never have to set boundaries or limitations, you need only to begin. 

Just Begin!

This is a blue parrot keet

One day I walked into PetSmart Downtown Chicago, and as I usually do I visited all the animals in the store.

I was there to get turtle food for Michaelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael. 4 Red-Seared turtles who have given me the assignment to one day retire them to Hawaii, which I’ve found in my research to be legal.

When I stopped to look at the birds in their habitat, ‘Prayer Blessing’ was expecting me.

With the last of the change I had in my pocket, I bought him from the store.

They took him from the cage and put him in a cardboard box carrier and I purchased him and we walked out of the store together.

I thought about how many concerns started to come up about him and his freedom.

But there were none while he was in captivity. I rejected them all, and in a short moment, he was free.
